Lokomotiva Zagreb signs Gentrit Salihu, a 22-year-old midfielder from Prishtina, as a free agent. Gentrit Salihu was most recently part of the Prishtina football club. For Salihu, this is a step forward in his career. Salihu has shown good performances in the Kosovo Super League in football. Lokomotiva is an ideal environment for my further development and I will do my best to justify the trust of the coaching staff and help the team achieve its goals," said Salihu after signing the contract. He becomes the next player developed in Kosovo to take the next step in his career. Salihu has also been in the youth team of Porto, and has also played for Besa e Peja and Dukagjini. Salihu plays in the defensive midfielder position. Lokomotiva Zagreb is in seventh place with 22 points. Several Albanian footballers have played for this team in the past.
